Aggie PIKES Dominate Intramurals

Always trying to put the A in S.L.A.G, Aggie PIKES are always competitive. This Fall was no exception.

The first championship came in indoor soccer. The PIKE's easily defeated Delta Tau Delta 4-2 in what was the first indoor soccer intramural championship for Pi Kappa Alpha. The indoor soccer team is known for being one of the best, so its about time we received some hardware for it!

The second championship match came in 7 on 7 flag football. The PIKE's took on Phi Delta Theta who had been a true Cinderella story as the 11 seed in the opposite bracket. That being said, with 40 brothers standing on the sidelines cheering them on, the men of Pi Kappa Alpha did not disappoint. With 50 seconds to go in the game, Phi Delta Theta scored the go ahead touchdown and went for 2 to put them up by one point. Led by quarterback Conner Cawley, the PIKE's drove down the field. With 4 seconds left on the clock, Conner sprinted to the corner of the end zone to seal the deal. HE GOT A TOUCHDOWN! HE GOT A TOUCHDOWN! Chaos ensued as brothers rushed the field in excitement. Penalty flags flew and delay of game penalties were assessed, but it was too late for Phi Delta Theta to make a comeback. The boys had done it.

2 Days. 2 Championships. PI-K-A, ALL DAMN DAY!
