Chapter History

The Theta Theta Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity was founded and chartered on April 24th, 1976 at Texas A&M University. The Theta Theta Chapter was proudly a top chapter on campus thriving in all areas. Unfortunately, in the Fall of 2000 our chapters charter was revoked.

In the Fall of 2010, an expansion project by the International Fraternity

recolonized the chapter at Texas A&M. After a year of hard work proving

ourselves through campus involvement, community service, and

edging our way to the top of the list in philanthropic fundraising, our colony

was voted on by the International Fraternity. With 84 founding fathers,

and 24 members of the Alpha Pledge Class, the Theta Theta Chapter

received its charter on October 15th, 2011, making it one of the

fastest colonies in the nation to receive its charter.

Aggie Pikes have proven to be Scholars, Leaders, Athletes, and Gentleman

thriving on Texas A&M's campus. Over the past few years, we have shown

our dedication to academics by consistently attaining a top 3 GPA among

all IFC fraternities. As Pikes, we take pride in being highly involved on campus.

With 100% of our membership involved in other organizations outside of Pi Kappa Alpha, we hope to build the leaders of tomorrow and well rounded men. Our members are involved all over campus including SGA, the Corps of Cadets, Texas A&M Ice Hockey, Texas A&M Golf, Fish Camp, Big Event, BUILD, and PAID. In addition to our outstanding campus involvement, Aggie Pikes are proud to boast consistent athletic achievement and championships in all aspects of intramural sports.

In recent years, we have truly found our form and begun to excel. Our hard work to become the best is proven in the University and National awards we have won. Those awards are as follows:

Raymond L. Orians Excellence Award (Top 50 Chapter) - 2016, 2018-2021 - Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity

Programming Award: Chapter Management - 2016 - Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity

Academic Award: 3.0+ GPA - 2013-2021 - Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity

100+ Man Chapter - 2014-2021 - Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity

Chapter Leadership Award - 2013 & 2016 - Texas A&M University OFSL

Outstanding Community Relations Award - 2016 - Texas A&M University OFSL

Excellence Award - 2013 - Texas A&M University OFSL

President's Award for Outstanding Greek Ambassador (Hudson Hoyle '14 & Riley Lindsay '22) - 2013 - Texas A&M University OFSL

These awards are just a snapshot of the successes we have seen in recent years. The Theta Theta Chapter of

Pi Kappa Alpha continues to create the best collegiate experience for young men as they journey though what is arguably the best four years of their lives. We truly believe we are able to provide an unparalleled experience enabling each of our members to grow academically and socially as they prepare to take on their future.
